Chapter Il lavoro del reddito di base
Abstract
The recent events that have shaken Europe call for an urgent rethinking of the current development model. Neoliberalism based on the absolute centrality of the market, in fact, no longer seems able to support the realization of a credible social project. In this context, work is increasingly precarious, atomized and shattered. Developing a vision of work capable of connecting technological potentials with an updated vision of social justice is therefore a necessity. For this purpose, it is essential for the author to overcome the conflict between wages and income, to return to interconnect the inclusive and participatory qualities of work with subjective self-realization on the one hand, and with social dignity on the other. A basic income policy is so proposed as the key to move in that direction.
