Chapter Appunti sull’emigrazione bergamasca nelle città della terraferma veneta nel Quattrocento (con particolare riferimento a Verona)
Abstract
The author takes as an example the emigration from Bergamo to offer a picture of its insertion in the Venetian mainland in the fifteenth century, focusing in particular on immigration in those centers which were happily defined by Giorgio Chittolini with the category of "quasi cities": compared to the studies previous ones, the author pays greater attention to the know-how of the Bergamo immigrants who managed to emerge in these places, achieving lasting success over several generations.
