Among these, The first book of Primaleon of Greece (1595) results from Munday’s translation of François de Vernassal’s French rendering of part of a Castilian romance belonging to the Palmerinian cycle, mainly dealing with princes Primaleon of Greece and Edward of England’s early years as knights. | |
